With full HD (1920 x 1080p) capability the Xiaomi YI Dashcam records crisp and clear videos with excellent detail. The frame rate of the videos is 30 fps, which ensures a smooth playback in case you need to do a slow-motion demonstration of an accident that has been saved to the removable storage (not included). It's finally available! Same battery that ships with the camera so expect that performance. Came in the charger in the usual YI sleek black box. At it's starter price of $20 USD is a steal if you need more batteries for this YI model. Wish I could buy it separate from the charger but I guess having spare chargers is not a bad thing. The construction is robust and everything feels suitably premium. Looks aside, this is a very functional device in terms of ergonomics. It's rather svelte at 7.3mm, and is rather light too
